Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Agera Solutions collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the SWOTLive Strategic Intelligence Platform.

Version 2026-10-18 · Last updated: October 18, 2026

1. Who we are

SWOTLive is a strategic analysis platform operated by Agera Solutions ("Agera Solutions," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the SWOTLive website, application, and related services.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use SWOTLive, we may collect the following information:

  • Account information: your name, email address, authentication details, and organization or role information that you provide when creating or managing an account.
  • Analysis information: the organizational details, SWOT factors, relationship ratings, notes, and strategic analysis content that you or your collaborators submit.
  • Subscription information: plan, billing status, trial status, and transaction records. Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment provider, Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Device and usage information: browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP address, pages or features used, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
  • Support information: messages and information you provide when you contact us or request a demonstration.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create and secure accounts and authenticate users;
  • provide, maintain, personalize, and improve SWOTLive;
  • store, analyze, and display analysis content and generated reports;
  • process subscriptions, trials, and payments;
  • send service messages, account notices, and support responses;
  • monitor performance, prevent misuse, and protect the security of the service;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements; and
  • understand product usage in aggregated or de-identified form.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your organizational analysis content to advertise to you or to publicly identify your organization without your direction or permission.

Free Strategic Snapshot and optional research analytics

The free Snapshot is generated from the text you submit and is not tied to an account. Your entries are sent to SWOTLive for temporary in-memory analysis and PDF rendering, not to external AI providers or persistent report storage. In the browser, entries are kept in page state only, not in the URL or browser storage, and are cleared when you choose Start new Snapshot or leave the page. If, and only if, you opt in to research analytics, we record step counts (started, completed, displayed, PDF downloaded, paid-plan exploration clicked) in a first-party system. These records never contain your confidential content, identity, IP address, or fingerprinting data. Attempt tokens are ephemeral and held in memory and expire after 24 hours. Expired de-duplication hashes are removed during cleanup, which runs every five minutes while the service is running and on startup; unlinked, timestamped observations are retained for aggregate historical trends. Counts describe opt-in attempts, not people. Paid totals come separately from existing billing records and are not attributed to free users. You can change your choice any time through Cookie settings. This section describes our practices and is not a claim of compliance with every law worldwide.

4. Service providers and sharing

We share information only as needed to operate SWOTLive, fulfill your instructions, or meet legal requirements. Our principal service providers include:

  • Clerk, which provides account creation, authentication, and user-management services. Clerk may process account identifiers and contact information on our behalf.
  • Stripe, which provides payment processing and subscription billing. Stripe processes payment details under its own privacy terms and provides us with limited billing and transaction information.

We may also use hosting, analytics, email, security, and support providers under written or otherwise appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

5. Organizational data and collaborators

SWOTLive is designed for organizations. If an organization invites you to an analysis, that organization may control the analysis content and may be able to view, edit, or remove content associated with its workspace. Questions about an organization's use of your information should first be directed to that organization.

6. Data retention

We retain account, subscription, and analysis information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. A plan change, cancellation, trial expiration, or payment issue does not by itself delete your organizations, analyses, submitted factors, relationship ratings, indexes, or reports; those records remain available if you restore access. When an account is closed or content is deleted, we will delete or anonymize information within a reasonable period, unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, backups, or legal compliance. Backup copies may remain temporarily until overwritten in the ordinary backup cycle.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can update certain account information in SWOTLive or request assistance by contacting pamela@agerasolutions.com.

We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when the law allows or requires us to do so. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use strong account credentials and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

9. Children's privacy

SWOTLive is intended for business and organizational use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how we use information, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
